Swimming in Lake Ontario in November

Is a ridiculous idea. Can’t believe you thought that was true. But then if you read the last entry a couple of days ago you were expecting park photos yesterday and that didn’t happen either so it’s not your fault – you were mislead.

Here are a few shots we took yesterday on our constitutional.

Spacious sites in the new area (our next door neighbour).

Us.

On the ring road.

The marina entry and the sad empty berths.

And all the beached dreams waiting for winter to pass.

Most of the trees have given up. This pond is inside the park.

Fortunately the old camping section has quite a few evergreens. But since we’re in sun seeking mode we’re staying in the nearly treeless section as long as possible. Might have to move if the park decides to close this section early.

Young brother Shawn (52 year old pup) and his supervisor Judith (also a young pup) invited us to dinner – great spread guys. Thanks for the hospitality and a pleasant evening. As a thank you I took some fabulous pictures of us all.

You may wish to skip past the picture of the gentlemen.

You were warned

OK you made it this far and seem relatively undamaged. Now go do something pleasant with your time.
