Time to make tracks for Canada.
Although we still had over 2 weeks left of our available 6 months in the US we decided to drive straight up through Pennsylvania and then New York to cross the border at Buffalo on the same day. Only 350 miles (563 of those dinky kilometre thingies) but a little more challenging that I expected (in a motorhome). Our route included Highways 70, 99 and finally 219. Just wiggly lines until you drive them.
Lots of hit the Jake Brake moments (loosely translated this means oh crap going too fast for the corner at the bottom of the hill gotta use the exhaust brake rfn!). Wiggly lines can be less fun that you might expect with 26,000 lbs under you.

The Alleghenies are short and old. The hills are steep and the curves are tight.
This is starting to read like a Harlequin novel…
Looking for flat straight stuff for a while. Lots of that in Southern Ontario
