This is where we stayed while doing the annual rounds of
doctors (LOF for people) and mechanics (LOF for the machines) from the
beginning of June through mid July.
At first glance this park looks like a filled in marsh with
smallish uneven sites with poor drainage. Upon closer examination it looks like
a filled in marsh with smallish uneven sites with poor drainage. The weekend
warriors pouring gasoline on uncooperative fires in the rain? Bonus
entertainment. Could have skipped the frequent smudge pots though.
On the positive side – it’s close to trails and easy for
family and friends to drop by. And they did:
Greg Caleigh and Will
Diane and Don
Jim & Lee

Buzzards |
Karen (OK we visited her)
Santiago
Camping Weekend
Another highlight of this period was the pleasure again of
visiting with the Santiago family at their
annual summer camping weekend – this time at McRae Point
Provincial Park.
Lots of fun, way too much food as usual and too short a time. Here’s a little
slide show: (click this link) Looking forward to next year.
Marnie & John at their cottage
We spent a delightful 3 days at and on the South
Magnetewan with Marnie and John. Now we’re ready to start out for
the Wet Coast.
Took a few pictures. You know what to do
