Just east of the Floral Clock on the Niagara Parkway is this immense spread of
lilacs. Really like the purple specimens:
It was unusual to be among flowers whose name I knew. Unlike
most of the lilacs I’ve encountered in the past, these bushes (trees) were put
here on purpose.
Acres of them.
We managed to stick our noses into quite a few places they
didn’t belong without inhaling a bee or wasp.
Even if you have an insensitive smeller like me (comes in
handy passing hog farms) you will get a heady shot of Spring here in May. See
you there in 2015.
