The only hard parts of the trail are going down and up.
There is no flat part.

The trail is short and steep. Quite moist under the forest
canopy. So was I by the time we got back up to the Parkway. No victory hug from
partner (did she say ewww?)
Took a few shots from the shore. There’s a lot of activity
in and over the Whirlpool.

On the way back up we met Nigel who was a bit lost after
coming down through the forest. We showed him the civilized route back up.

Nigel is with a company that promotes vacation destinations
and he is always ready with a message:
He’s right. You should go. But don’t expect victory hugs
before you shower.
